I love early Spring mornings very much. When with the
appearance of the first sun beams the Nature begins to wake up. Very often,
about at 4:00 AM or 5:00 AM, I get out of the bed, go down to the first floor,
open the leading door to the inner
courtyard, sit down on the stairs and listen to the silence. At this time I don‘t
hear the uproar of the rushing people, vehicles riding on the road, even the engines of the city buses. It seems
as if the whole world has frozen... However if You would listen attentively You
would hear the story of the morning silence: awaken floral raise their heads to
the morning rays, next to the house growing‘s lime-tree leafs are playing in
the wind, early birds appear in the sky, a rushing bunny runs through the road.
It seems nothing is happening, but all around the world „boils“ in it‘s own
life. It is so good to wake up early in the morning and to listen attentively
to the silence...
Už mano lango šėlsta nuotaikinga pavasario dvasia. Pievoje vėjo šokdinami pienių pūkai bei miško paunksmėje galvas tiesiančios gėlės verčia mane vis dažniau pasvajoti apie šaunią pavasario išvyką į gamtą kartu su visa šeimyna. Tikriausiai todėl nutarus suvelti naujas šlepetes, išsirenku ryšią geltoną spalvą. Papuošiu jas lengvomis rudomis gijomis. Viskas be galo lengva, paprasta ir natūraliai ryšku, kaip ir ta pavasariška nuotaika, kuri sklando ne tik už lango, | Outside the window adventures spirit of spring is going on the spree. All these dandelion fuzzies dancing in the wind and smiling flowers in the medow inspires me to dream about nice trip in to the wild with all my family. Probably this was the reason why I had chosen bright yellow color for new slippers. Also they were decorated with light brown threads. My new slippers look very light, easy and naturally bright, just like the spring‘s mood everywhere – outside the window, in my heart, in my works... |
Mano
draugė Lina, kartu su vyru Tadu, gyvena gretimoje gatvėje. Vasarą jos darže
gausu įvairių daržovių bei vaisių. Veldama šlepetes jai, tyčia parinkau
ryškias, kontrastingas, vasariškas spalvas. Šlepečių papuošimui naudojau
lino ir šilko gijas, vilnos garbanėles.

My
good friend Lina with her husband Tadas are my neighbors. In summer Lina's
garden is full of various vegetables and fruits.
When I was
felting these slippers for Lina I intentionally chose bright,
contrasting and summery colors.
For decorations
I used linen and silk thread, fleece curls.
